The Fellowship of American Bibliophilic Societies
is an organization like-minded member clubs. Its goal is to keep members informed of news, events, publications, and activities
that may be of interest. The FABS Newsletter is published twice a year to facilitate that goal.
FABS sponsors an annual tour, hosted by one of the major clubs, of 3-5 days of intensive bibliohilic happenings.
Past tours have been to New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and in May 2010 The Book Club of Detroit. The
event organizer in Detroit is Joan Knoerzter, who also is a snowbird member of the Florida Bibliophile Society.
