BIBLIO TALKS

About the Speakers:

Paul T. Ruxin is a member of the Rowfant Club of Cleveland, The Chicago Literary Club, the Caxton Club of Chicago and the Grolier Club of New York.  He is also a member of the Editorial Committee of the Yale Editions of the Private Papers of James Boswell, of the Governing Committee of the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C., and serves as Vice-Chairman of the Friends of the Amherst College Library.  Paul has been the Guest Speaker for many of the bibliophile societies around the country.  If you can find a copy, the talks  he presented to the Rowfant Club  from 1979 to 2000 are published in Friday Lunch, Cleveland, n.d..

Jerry Morris is President of the Florida Bibliophile Society.  Always a reader, Jerry Morris became a book collector during his  overseas tour in the United Kingdom in the late 1980s, before he retired from the U.S. Air Force.    Two of his articles have been published in the online AB Bookman Magazine: "The Story of a Bookplate"  and "The Sentimental Airman."   Unfortunately, ABBookman.com has met its maker ; however.  Jerry Morris  recreated both articles on his personal website and it can be viewed here: http://moislibrary.com

His talk on William Targ is the first of a series of talks:  "Bibliophiles in My Library."
